Kenny and Erin Pata are an unlikely pair from opposite sides of the country that met on a porch with Merle Haggard playing in the background. Erin is an outgoing, but secretly introverted, artist from Ohio and Kenny is a quiet, but secretly extroverted, farmer from California. Kenny taught Erin how to dance and after winning first place in the Cha-Cha contest they decided to get hitched in 1999. Bonded by the love of flea markets, county fairs and the smell of diesel, they found a happy life together each pursuing their own creative direction alarm clock-free. A few years later came Anna, Adam and Claire who eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with both parents at the table and get free tractor rides whenever they want them. Kenny and Erin hope that their children each create a life for themselves where they can hear God easily and are able to experience their own unique creative bliss. Here are some photos of their lives and workspaces.
